Community

We believe a stronger community is the key to ending domestic violence. And we recognize that we cannot end domestic violence on our own. That is why FVLC partners with like-minded organizations to build awareness, educate the public, and offer support to our community.

Today we reach more of the younger members of our community than ever before. Our efforts include classes and awareness campaigns at high schools as well as middle schools. These youth leadership efforts empower teens to address dating violence and be advocates for change, and educates them on how to create and support healthy relationships.

We value the ongoing relationships we have with schools, youth development agencies, hospitals, legal service providers, law enforcement agencies, shelters, mental health providers, and victims service organizations. With the help of all these valuable members of our community, we can create a future without domestic violence.
